PRODUCTION SERVICES

Move approved parts into a controlled, repeatable production workflow.

West Sound Solutions supports flexible production for repeat components and products by connecting approved design data, materials, process requirements, capacity planning, inspection, packaging, and revision control into one production baseline.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT

Build repeatability into the process, not just the first part.

Production planning starts with a known revision and clear requirements. The process can then be organized around quantity, capacity, material, setup, inspection, packaging, documentation, delivery, and future reorders.

Repeat Production

Support recurring builds from controlled files and documented requirements so future orders begin from an established baseline.

Small-Batch Manufacturing

Produce practical batch quantities when flexible manufacturing is a better fit than tooling-intensive or high-volume processes.

Revision Control

Keep design changes tied to the correct files and requirements so an updated part does not become an undocumented variation.

Capacity & Scheduling

Plan production around expected quantities, run frequency, lead time, available equipment, material availability, and delivery needs.

Inspection Points

Identify dimensions, appearance, fit, quantity, or other project-specific characteristics that should be checked during production.

Material & Process Control

Keep required materials, approved production methods, and process information connected to the part rather than relying on memory between runs.

Assembly & Kitting

Coordinate project-specific assembly, hardware installation, component grouping, or kit preparation when the product requires more than a single manufactured part.

Packaging & Identification

Account for labels, part identification, protective packaging, quantities, revision information, and delivery requirements as part of the production plan.

Production Handoff

Preserve the approved baseline and relevant production information so reorders and future revisions can begin with known requirements.

PRODUCTION READINESS

A prototype proves the idea. Production requires a defined baseline.

Before repeat manufacturing, the approved design should be connected to the information needed to reproduce it. That reduces ambiguity and gives future orders a consistent starting point.

Approved RevisionThe correct CAD model, drawing, artwork, specification, or other production file is identified before release.
Material RequirementsMaterial type, grade, color, thickness, source constraints, or other requirements are defined where they matter.
Critical CharacteristicsDimensions, interfaces, appearance, markings, fit, or functions that matter most are identified for inspection.
Production MethodThe selected manufacturing process, setup information, and important process assumptions are tied to the released part.
Packaging & DeliveryCounts, labels, packaging protection, kits, shipment requirements, or other handoff needs are defined before the run.
Change ManagementFuture design changes can be reviewed and released as a new revision instead of quietly replacing the previous baseline.
PRODUCTION WORKFLOW

From approved revision to repeat order.

A repeatable workflow creates a known path from release through manufacturing, inspection, packaging, and future reorder.

01 · RELEASE

Confirm the baseline

Verify the approved files, revision, quantity, material, process, schedule, and project-specific requirements.

02 · PLAN

Prepare the run

Organize capacity, materials, setup information, equipment, inspection points, packaging, and delivery requirements.

03 · PRODUCE

Run the batch

Manufacture against the approved information and control avoidable variation during the production run.

04 · VERIFY

Inspect and count

Check the project-specific characteristics, quantities, appearance, or other acceptance criteria established for the product.

05 · RETAIN

Preserve the baseline

Keep the approved revision and relevant production information available for future repeat work or controlled changes.

FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION

Production support can combine multiple West Sound Solutions capabilities.

A finished product may require 3D printed parts, fabricated components, laser marking or cutting, assembly, packaging, or other project-specific work. West Sound Solutions can organize those requirements around a common product revision so the production workflow is easier to repeat and improve.

When demand changes, the production approach can be reviewed again for quantity, cycle time, material usage, capacity, or process improvements rather than assuming the original prototype method is always the right long-term solution.

WHAT TO SEND

Start with the information you already have.

  • Current drawing, CAD model, source file, or sample part
  • Approved revision or known design status
  • Expected order quantity and anticipated reorder frequency
  • Material, finish, color, hardware, or assembly requirements
  • Critical dimensions, interfaces, or appearance requirements
  • Packaging, labeling, kitting, and delivery needs
  • Desired schedule, lead time, and any downstream dependencies
